SIMPLE HAIR CARE REGIMENS THAT CAN BE USED AT HOME WITH NATURAL PRODUCTS.
1. WASHING HAIR/SHAMPOOING.
Shampoo everyday or twice a week. For,
-Curly/coarse hair; Mix 3 tablespoons of extra virgin Olive oil and 1 tablespoon of Honey ,apply thoroughly to your hair. Wear a shower cap and wait for 15-20 minutes, then thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water.
-Straight/oily hair; Mix two or three tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar with a cup of water, apply thoroughly on your scalp and leave for five minutes. Rinse completely with cold water. Repeat only three times a week.
-Dry hair; You will need 1/4 cup of honey and 3 tablespoons of warmed coconut oil. Mix and apply to the scalp. Cover and wait for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
-Fine hair; Thoroughly mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water. Apply on the hair and let it dry on its own.
-Medium/thick hair; Again here, Olive oil and Honey make a perfect conditioner. Mix a 1/4 cup of honey and a 1/4 cup of olive oil. Then apply to your hair, cover ,heat, rinse and then you can style as usual.
-Also another great conditioning way is to mix 1 Avocado,1/2 can Coconut milk,1/4 cup Mayonnaise,1/4 cup honey and 1/2 a Banana. Apply on the hair, cover with a shower cap then heat and rinse with cold water.
For moisturizing, it doesn’t matter what hair type you have. Every natural recipe is great for every hair type. e.g
-In equal proportions, mix almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Egg oil also can be used. Apply thoroughly to the scalp and leave for approximately four hours before rinsing with warm water. Do this twice a week for the best results.
-Another good recipe is; mix 1/2 an avocado with one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of honey. Also, add one tablespoon of peppermint. Mix thoroughly and apply to the scalp. Wait for it to dry completely before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water.
-Equal proportions of lemon juice and yogurt plus 1 egg mixed, heated and rinsed on your hair will also do wonders in moisturizing your hair.
